Dishes

Just not too long ago, my colleagues were discussing about some dishes. At first I was wondering why are they discussing about it and one of them keep insisting that she want Fish and Chips. Later I then realized that they were talking about men.

Here's the Categories:

  • Chicken Rice
  • Fish & Chips
  • Curry
  • Nasi Lemak

Can you figure that out? It shouldn't be too hard right?

When I was younger, I'd thought that I wanted Fish & Chips but then I believe lots of people had thought the same way as I did. Why? I HAD a perception that Fish & Chips is better. The other reason being that I want to have good looking kids. Keke.. Did you ever notice that no matter how ugly both parents are, their kids will be good looking as long as they are mixed. Their kids usually get the best genes of both worlds. I'm a vain person too, I want my kids to be good looking. Keke..

Now I got myself another dish which is out of all the categories. I got myself a Banana Split. Keke.. Which is better than Fish & Chips. Someone whom my parents can communicate with (with some difficulties too as this Banana Split isn't proficient in Chinese and don't understand Cantonese). Lolx.. Anyway I reckoned he's the best for me, able to tolerate my nonsense and be my chauffeur (lolx.. Just kidding! Oh no!! I'm getting complacent!)

Classes

My parents and dear didn't like me to continue with the referee course. Reason why? It's located at GEYLANG LORONG 10!!! Of all places, it is located in the middle of the red light district! The small green building is located in the midst of all the hotels and populated by ladies wearing skimpy dresses, revealing half breast and whole length of their legs and men young and old checking out the girls and their prices.. It is simply horrible, not suitable to have some referee course to be held. The first time we went there, we were looking our way to get into the building when a group of men approached us,"Siao2 Jie3..." We quickly walked away and into the safety of the buildings. To think that I still have about 6 more classes before we change location to Aljunied. Sigh..

Yesterday, we were taught on an artical on Alternating Possession. I didn't understand it throughout the whole lesson. This AP is only introduced last year and by then I am already no longer in touch with basketball. AP is used to replace jumpball, there will only be one jump ball in the whole match, after which, AP will be used to determine which team starts the ball.

Once again, my Mom asked me why I join this course. Really! Can she just stop asking? I really don't know my purpose of signing up. I only know, I have always wanted to take up this course but for what reason? I don't know now..

Did you know? The rule book was free for the previous courses and now we have to pay!! And one more thing, the lecturer actually earn commission with every whistle and cord sold. In other words, the lecturer is a cheat! WTH..

Let Go!

Sightings of my nephew never ended, I really wonder when he would leave. I just wish that he would have peace now and go where he should go, stop scaring people now. One of the maids wants to go back to her own country. She couldn't stand it anymore.

Last night had an extremely long conversation with an old friend on the phone. I really missed talking to her, especially now we hardly have the time to meet. Was talking to her about graduation. Now that I have sort of plan what I want to do after graduation, I'm still afraid of the future. What will happen, if things don't go the way I plan?

How can some guys be such bastards, don't know what is na2 de4 qi3, fang4 de4 xia4? When the feelings for each other changes directions, it's time to let go and move on. No point dragging the relationship and now both parties are upset. Who gives him the right to be unhappy because I was on the phone with her.

Today when I see him, he's going to get it from me!!

Piak!* Slap your face! This is for not able to get along with me!
Bwish!!* Punch you in your stomach! This is for being such a PITA!!
Crack!* Break your neck! For knowing her and luring her into your trap!!
Grrr.. Argh...* Bite you! For not treating her the way she deserve!
Hai yak* Kick you to Pluto!! >( This is for causing my friend unhappiness!!

I'm going to protect her from you! Just get lost and burn in hell!!

Freaky..

Believe it or not. It really happened.

My nephew went home on monday night, that was the first day of the sightings. He played with his bike, this freaked everyone. My cousin went to his room to hear him singing but there was no one in the room.

Yesterday, he played the piano. The piano was closed but there are noise produced from the piano. He drool on the hand of one of the maids, which really scare the hell out of them. He started playing with his bedroom door, opening and closing it. That really really freak the maids as they sleep in the same room as he did last time.

What about this sightings? Maybe you will think that I'm just crapping but it is true. My Dad even wanted to bring me to their house tonight? For goodness sake!! I'm scared too, you know.

What I believe is that, he didn't know that he died. He came home and no one was taking note of him, so he started all these to gain attention, unfortunately he scared the hell out of everbody living there. My uncle, aunt and cousins all didn't even want to go home last night.

Maybe everyone wanted him back and my nephew came home.. I said in my previous post that we'll miss him, now I think everyone's afraid of him.

Death is so cruel!

15th January 2005, about 4 am in the morning, he was pronounced dead. My nephew at the young age of 10 died on Saturday. He died of pneumonia.

I went to the funeral wake that evening, it's just so heartbreaking to see my Uncle and my Aunt. They look pale and their eyes were swollen from all the crying I believe. My cousin was quietly sitting at one of the tables with her boyfriend. She looked emotionless, I really wonder if she feels sad..

I just can't bear to look at his photo, I went teary just looking at it. The last time I saw him, he looks so bubbly. Lucky the coffin was covered and is without a window. I believe I'll just break down when I see his little lifeless body lying in the big coffin. The coffin is not even for his size, maybe its more comfortable for him?

I feel so sad for my Uncle and Aunt, they truly cared and loved him but life is just so cruel to take his life away. And I just hope that my cousin wouldn't fall into another depression. My Dad on the other hand, told me it's a good thing that happened. My nephew is unlike any boy at his age who goes to primary school. He attends a special school and he can't talk to express his feelings. My Aunt hired another maid just to look after him. Sometimes, you can just see the frustration in his eyes when he can't tell us what he wants which often leads him to flare his temper. He's a lonely boy, even with the care and love of his family, he do not have any friends.

At least to my Uncle, Aunt and cousin, this will be a release to them, emotionally and financially. Now they do not need to worry for him, pay for his medications and schooling. Who is to look after him when he grows older? All of us would be dead by then. Most of all, if my cousin wants to remarry, she need not worry that he boyfriend wouldn't accept her son.

This morning, I attended his funeral processions which is a very simple one. I was forcing myself not to cry when his coffin is being pushed into the crematorium(What is it called)?

Farewell.. May you find peace at wherever you are.. We'll miss you.

Back to the office

Screw!! Slacking for stupid reasons..

First I forgot to bring the office key, no idea where I left it, hopefully its not lost. Then I also forget to bring my thumbdrive which most probably is with the key. Now can't get anything done as some of the files are in my thumbdrive. What is this!!

Sigh I would rather work from home with everything there and I can start work later and wake up later. The only con about that is I'll have to stay in my house all day long, which is not very fun, considering that I have no working space. I need to work outside my house like yesterday and get roasted by the afternoon sun and heat!!

I just sign up for basketball referee course!! Yeah.. Finally.. My Mom asked, "Is this course useful?" Hmm.. I suddenly was hesitant with the answer. Why did I sign up? I wanted to take this course since graduation from sec 4, it is natural as I was a basketball addict then. But now come to think of it. For what? Be a referee and earn extra income? Firstly do I have the time? I'm graduating soon, going to the outside world soon, if I find myself a job, I wouldn't have the time to go referee a match. Keke.. It's just too late when she asked, as I've already sign up and paid for the course. So be it! I'm a future referee!! Please look forward to see me in basketball matches! =D

You..

After reading Junius's blog entry, I suddenly felt the urge to write this (Even though I should be doing my work now. Hee..).

During year one, Emily started telling me that she found a very nice and sweet guy from her class but he is not handsome (!!!). Telling me about the incident where she slipper strap snapped and this guy by the name of Fabian called his mother to bring a pair of slippers to school for her. At the end, she got 2 pairs of slippers to choose from. Lolx.. That was the first time I heard of you.

The first time we met was after or before some lecture. I can't remember the exact details. I was waiting for emily in the lecture hall 38 or 45 I believe and then she came in and call out my name," Jac! This is Fabian! Fabian! This is Jac!" She was so anxious to introduce us together and I wonder why as I was attached to another guy at that time. After that she kept calling out my name when you were around. But I hardly took note at you as I said I was attached.

At the end of the semester, we signed up for EIC 2002. We were in the same clique as we were the only year 1 students. However I didn't get to know you either, I was closer to Jonathan and Melissa. My impression of you was a quiet and nerdy person.

Then during the end of the year 2, 1st semester, Jonathan told me about the cashflow game organized by YEN and asked me to be his partner. This was when they were doing the committee recruitment. I signed for it and suddenly got really involved in YEN.

We got into the committee and were to organize another EIC camp by ourselves which most of us think it's impossible. We were put to be in charge of UBC. This is when we become closer, as we need to work together. One day my laptop was infected by a virus. I panicked and called you as I was chatting to you earlier on. This is how we start our phone calls I believed.

Maybe you didn't know but I actually looked forward to seeing you online and I was a bit xuang3 when you called me after we go offline. That was one of the happiest times as we talked and crapped about everything. However, I didn't realize that I was falling for you.

Then you started acting funny. I thought you were just kidding, you sounded like you're kidding but you were serious. I thought a lot as I'm afraid, it will affect out relationship. You are such a PITA.. Keep asking and asking that night. I finally gave in, even though my initial decision was to reject you (However I didn't once regret it). April 6 2004, 2:23am(should be correct), officially pronounce you boyfriend and girlfriend.

We made many shocked, our personalities are as different as day and night. But we have just celebrated our 9th monthsary. We need our differences to balance each other I think. I'll remember the ups and downs we've been through.. One of the hardest time to pass was when you were away at NZ for a holiday. It was the first and only time, we are apart for so long. Now I dread your NS.

The first time I said I love you to you was really hard but now it just seemed very natural to say, "I love you!!!!" I know I've been really unreasonable and stubborn sometimes but I will always love you and be there for you. Thank you for tolerating my nonsense. I Love You Dear.

Wah I'm proud of myself! I managed to write such a long entry, not bad eh? Keke.. =)

Year 2005

2004 had just ended with many sorrows and happiness. Many fond memories as well as sad ones. It really ended badly with the tsunami event and I believe that it had affact many countries all over the world. I had heard the radio this morning, there was 3 brothers ages 2 to 7, who donated a few dollars and this must be their life savings. Though it may be a small amount but what really count was the thought. It was so heartwarming to see how nations all over the world are united and helping each other.

Year 2005, a new beginning. I wish everyone happiness and be successful in whatever they do. May I have a meaningful and wonderful experience with Macromedia, pass this semester, find a good job, save as much money as possible. Lolx..
