Waves of Death.. The Aftermath..

News of the aftermath of the Tsumani are on the news everyday. Just reading the new articles, brought tears to my eyes.. My heart goes out to all the victims.. Like me, my mother avoid to hear or watch the news as she would be flooding the house with tears.

Now that the death toll is up to 80 000, as every min passes, more casualties arises. Don't you think you should play a part to help them in everyway or anyway you can? I'm going to donate some can food to Sri Lanka, one of the countries with the most damages and toll death.

How I wish can go there to help them, but I know I wouldn't be able to bear the sight of bloated dead bodies and the stench that they gave out.. Anyway I don't have the money to go there so I'll do my part to donate food.

This event really made me realized how fragile a life can be. One moment you are alive and having fun, the next you'll be lifeless and dead. We must treasure every moment that we live and cherish everyone whom is around us. Life is short and unpredictable..

Though there are many obstacle that make it so hard to set up a warning system, such as money factor, qualified personnel etc. I really hope that moves will be made to set up a tsunami early-warning system for the Indian Ocean. This would definitely have save lots of unnecessary deaths.

Festive Season...

Watched Kong Fu Hustle on Christmas eve, met Fab after his Christmas party in his office. I took the correct bus but the wrong direction and had to take the MRT back to West Mall. After the movie, we went to shop some present for his parents and sister. Then I had Christmas dinner at Fab's house. The food was not bad but I didn't touch the steamboat.. Hehe.. For my hygiene reason..

I recieved quite a lot of presents.. Gotten a Bear from Fab, DIY bear, I got a birthcert for the bear too but I haven't filled it up yet as I don't know what to name my bear. His family gave me a ELLE bag. I got a perfume from his cousin, a bag of face towels and a packet of Loaker waffer biscuits from his aunts.. Interesting presents right? Keke..

On Christmas day, I went to his house and followed his family to his cousin's place for his nephew's (zach) 1st monthsary. I'm falling in love with Brian!! He is so cute!! Then Fab and I had dinner at Jurong Point. We went to the pet shop and he decided to buy 2 hamsters for me.. But I insisted that I pay him 1/2 the price. Keke.. We bought a cage, bedding, food, water bottle and 2 Winterwhite.. They look so cute! I got 2 males, I wouldn't want to breed hamsters..

That night, Fab came to my house to help me set up the cage. The hamsters were weary and afraid at that moment when we put them in the cage. But as soon as my brother and Fab left. I sat beside the cage and looked at them. They started to explore the cage, the bigger one tried the wheel and soon it was addicted to the wheel..

My brother was really excited over the hamsters, so is Mandy. Keke.. They are very playful when it comes to night time. One is very lazy and the other greedy.. Decided to name them Diego and Dallas but I still haven't figure out how to differentiate them yet. Think they are used to me already, as they will come to me and sniff my fingers.. They squeak very loudly when Fab put his hands into the cage. Keke..

Peace and Quiet..

Silence in the office, usually it always like this at this time of the day but now is different. Most of them didn't come to work, taking off or on business trip. I believe I'll be the only one at this side of the office..

Better finish my work today so I can don't go to work tomorrow. Yeah!!

Dong1 Zhi4

Early yesterday Morning, my Mom woke me up and I helped her to make some tang1 yuen2.. I love making tang1 yuen2 as I find it fun and I prefer those homemade ones to those manufactured ones. We went to the market for breakfast and went to buy some last minute groceries for steam boat.

Got back home and slack all day till dinner time, helped with the preparation and waited for Fab to come. I reckoned that we had one of the bestest steamboat, the bestest food ever. Fab and I went out for a walk, went down to 7 Eleven and bought ice cream, then we walked further down to Lower Pierce. Cool weather, quiet and peaceful. I love Pierce Reservoir..

I took a day off yesterday, this is why I was home the whole day. Keke.. I have one more leave, wonder when I can use it. =) Shh.. I didn't tell Ms Fa'izah about it..

He and she is finally going to be fine again. He is so cunning sometimes, he always managed to make it looks as if she is the one who gave in and lose to him. Anyway, I'm glad that this won't be a sad ending. I love them both..

Sweat!

Saturday morning, it was hard to get up at 7am.. Just want to go back to bed, but I couldn't. As usual I gave Lian a morning call. Met her for breakfast and rush to Yishun MRT as we are running late. Gwen must be really anxious, the day before I was asking her when the 3 on 3 was on Saturday or Sunday, we were late on that day, Grace was still sleeping when she called her. Lolx..

When we got to the Basketball court, it's even worst! We saw more then 2 teams, and all of them seem so pro! I got scared and wanted to quit, but the rest was like wait for Grace to come before we decide and don't let appearance scare you. Never judge a book by its cover. Okie, so we registered and paid for the registration. We lost both games but I had fun playing, realization struck me, I'm really old and I need more training, I get tired easily, my shooting sux and I'm slow.. Sux..

Went home for a quick bath and rush down to J8, had lunch at Long John Silver. They cheated me $2, I'm not going there anymore. Long John Bishan J8, you have lost a potential customer! After that went to watch National Treasures. I like it, but it was a little predictable.. I still think it's worth the money to watch.

Sunday morning, Fab rang me up. We went to have breakfast at the roti prata shop just outside my house. Then we head to MacRitchie Reservoir. We wanted to go see the tree top trail. Went the wrong way a few times, think the National Park Boards could put a few map signage at every junction where the trails meet. A 5km plus journey to the trail and another 5 km plus journey back to the reservoir. Tiring.. A total of about 12 Km.

I thought it's worth the trip, just felt that the tree top trail could be longer. It was definitely a nice feeling standing in the middle of the bridge and having the world under you and the wind blowing on to your face. Went up the Jelutong Tower, Who knows when we got up to the top floor, Fab wasn't feeling too well. He had height phobia and I know about it but didn't know that it was this serious. Felt bad dragging him up with me..

Went for a swim after that as we were both so hot and sticky! Of course, we shower ourselves before going down to the pool and who knows the pool was really cold.. Haha..

I had fun that day, though the morning start out no good. It felt great, sweating so much! I think I should exercises more to keep myself fit, I'm getting too fat and lazy nowadays. Losing my appeal.. Hee.. Just kidding. However I'm hurting all over and that sux big time.. Keke..

So near yet so far...

Last night, he said he forgotten where he parked the car. I followed him around the compound looking for his car. Found his car at the corner where he usually don't park.

"Isn't that the same case as you?" He suddenly asked.

"Huh?" He was talking about the radio, the DJ was talking about some health issues and I struggled to pay attention. But it was a waste of my effort.

After that was silence through out the journey home. Looking at him, I see a lonely and lost man. I feel so sad for him, I wonder if he has any friends whom he can pour out his feelings to. Maybe he's just too obsessed with his religion and nothing else matters. Hehe.. Isn't it sadist?!

Nearing our destination, he suddenly took a wrong turn, I was wondering why he made that turn.

Finally we reached home, "Go home first, I'm going to the bank."

Come on, at this time of the day? You've got to be kidding. Why not just tell the truth?

Calm..

All things seem fine now, but I know that it's still there.. 2 months.. Sigh.. I hate to believe this is happening. We have been able to get through this all these years, but why now? Is it because we are older now? I don't want this to happen but I see her sad all these years.. Maybe this is a release to her... What about him? He's been to dependent on her and now.. He will leave just like this? Where's the love and warmth? Suddenly it just disappear.. I'm feeling lost now.. I wish this is just a nightmare.. I want to wake up!

Chaos! All Hell Break Loose...

Last week a lot of things happened.. And this time it got worse than ever. I never expected such an outcome. What will happen? What will become of us? I feel like running away.. This shouldn't be happening. Have you ever felt so lost? I don't know what I should do to stop this.. I broke down when I heard the news.. I'm glad that Fab was by my side.. I really don't know how to go on this way. Maybe it's a release.. But I miss the old days..

Yesterday watched Alexander.. OMG he's gay.. I didn't know it. I find the movie too long for my liking, but overall it is not bad.. Try catching it..

BSA Event

Yesterday went for the SAM Exhibition it is a BSA event. It was somewhat disorganised and I got scolded by this uncle who say I don't let him enter to the clinic session!!! But the procedure is that you have to produce a voucher before I allow you in as there are in total over 1000 of people and only 70 are allowed into each session. He scold me until I'm on the verge of crying already.. I told him nicely and he just cannot calm down to talk nicely. Then Audrey came and she took over to talk to him. Sigh I think I never really handle the situation well, need to learn how to handle people when they are being ridiculous..

Channel News Asia came, they were shooting just in front of our Macromedia booth, I think cause our banners look a lot nicer than the others.. Keke.. Then this host keep retaking, sigh I need to go down to set up the clinic le still have finish shooting.. Thought I'll be on TV.. Lolx.. Had a really late lunch at 4pm.. Very hungry, my colleagues and our reseller say go eat, eat at the hotel cafe. I was so scared that I need to pay for my meal and the meal there aren't cheap at all, so I chose the cheapest dish, Veggie Burger. Luckily our reseller paid for my meal. Phew.. Keke..

Went home after the lunch, reached home at 5-6 pm. Early right? Audrey and Cindy send me home, we took a cab, I believe they are claiming it from the company. Play pool with Fab later, then he took me out for a drive, went to some road where the road are really windy and curvy, nice place to race, but of course we didn't.. Just went exploring... =)

Back from Lunch

Just came back from lunch. Had lunch with Emily. It's been a long time since I saw her.. We were chit chatting about our work when we saw Brenda. I wasn't sure it was Brenda until she saw me staring at her and say hi. She changed alot, no more the rough girl, now she looked so lady like, not the Brenda I used to know. She's working at some tour agency company.

I wonder if our other colleagues went out for lunch already? I left at 12pm and they were still here, I came back 1.35pm, they are still here.. Either they had a short lunch break or they haven't eaten their lunch yet. I would like to belief the latter. keke..

Another Slacking Day

Audrey's sick, yesterday she even left work early to go see a doctor. Guess what? Today she's on MC.. Is it suppose to be good or bad? I wonder. Just went to find a polo T so I can wear for tomorrow's event. All so big size!! I manage to find a bigger a little bit by just nice one. Suppose to get the T shirt, but I couldn't find any, guess they are out of stock already. Pack the items to be sent to the hotel, only left with finding a bigger box that I can put all the smaller boxes inside. Then I think I can really slack throughout today.

Where's my PAYCHECK!!

Sigh.. It's been a week since the payday and yet I haven't recieved any paycheck yet. I'm need the money to buy my bus concession!! Sigh I really wonder when will I get it. This week hopefully?!

Life at work is not any fun especialy when you have nothing to do at all. Lucky I have work to do, need to do up a proposal for some event. Hmm.. It's actually kind of interesting, at least no more name card scanning and data entry. If this proposal is approve, I really look forward to this event which will be held next year. Is work always so boring or is it because I'm just an intern and they don't trust me with any task that needs more experience. All I do here is send out emails, reply them, forward them. Call for courier, pack the items that needs to be sent out. Data entry, do some research on opportunities etc etc..

The only thing that I like it here is the people and the flexibilty. I always get free lunches, tea etc. Keke.. You can go for lunch for 1 to 2 hours. Can have tea break in the morning and late afternoon, which takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour each. Once Audrey told me that I can go down for a walk if I'm bored. What do you think about this kind of working environment?!

Hmm time to knock off.. Just wonder how long will Fab take? Think I'll just stay here a little longer.

School Reopens!

Today school start!! Most people will be having their IS today. Wah I missed school when I can sometimes skip some lecture to go out. When in school we have more time to go out and have fun. Now that I'm having attachment, sometimes I really have no time to go out at all. My Mum don't seem to like me going out for dinner at all. Then when I come home at 10pm, she doesn't look happy at all. But after work when we go eat, it's already 7pm by the time we finish eating it's about 8 something then walk abit here and there about 9pm, reach home at 10pm. Just nice right?

Today meeting Fab later for dinner! Can't wait to see him. Last week only met him 3 times. His Mother will be picking me up later. Having dinner at his place..

Meeting the girls on Friday!! Can't wait for that too! It's been a long time since we met. Everyone was busy with their exams and work. Finally we can find time to meet up.. Don't know how's everyone?

Home.. Clean my Grandma's house today! Doing early spring cleaning. Keke.. Nothing much today.. Had a very good dinner today. Grandma cooked my favorite dishes!! Fried egg with bitter gourd, fried chili prawn, sesame chicken and soup(some kind of melon)!!! *droolz*

Later a at 10am which is a few minutes later, there would be a fire drill.. -_-" .....

So bored as usual.. Nothing for me to do except send and reply some emails and SCAN name cards.. Think I'm more and more like a clerk or secretary.. =(

Yesterday went to Harbour Front for dinner, ate at Spizza. Hmm.. The Pizza is delicious! So is the Salad.. All taste very nice. Much much better than Pizza Hut, I prefer the thin crust to the Pizza Hut's Think crust. Next time want to go there again. Keke.. But I abit not use to eating pizza with fork and knife, I prefer using hands..

Tomorrow going to Grandma's house to be maid!!! Sigh.. Always go there clean up her house, not that I don't want to clean lah. It's not hard at all but when she only looks for us. What is this? What about the rest? Sometimes felt as if she's using us.. Sigh..

Last night at Singapore Idol, Taufik won!! Yep! I'm happy for him! Though I haven't been voting for anyone. I think Taufik should win as he sings better than Sly. But I didn't say that Sly don't sing well it's just that I thought the better singer should win. As he will have to represent Singapore in the World Idol, better not throw our face.. Anyway winning is just winning and going far is different thing. Like Ruben Stutter(how to spell his name), he won the American Idol. And now I only heard Clay Aiken, Ruben Stutter like disappear already. Both Taufik and Sly got a record deal, it really doesn't matter at all, both are winners in their own way. =)

Why? When everyone seems so busy at work, I have nothing to do.. Only 3 other people is in office. The rest either on leave or business trip, are meeting the Thai visitors and we are hosting them for today. All I was given is to go SAM and find some stupid logo which I can't find cos Audrey only show we how it looked like but I don't know what the logo is called. Anyway I think it's because of the session today, she seem really pissed off, with her laptop, with everything!

I'm hungry! Later meeting Fab for lunch.. Which means spend more money! Cause he'll be taking a cab down.. Sigh.. But I can't wait to see him.. Hee..

Last night went out for dinner with Fab and then went to watch Polar Express!! I LOVE the movie.. I thought it was really great and touching, just remind us that we have to believe in Christmas and Mr C. Think Tom Hanks' a really good actor, as it was really amazing to see him play so many characters in the movie. I think the graphics are good too, Incredibles one is also good. The next one I want to watch is National Treasure? Don't remember the name lah but I believe it's full of adventure and stuff. Fab wants to watch Alexander, maybe watch with him on this Thrusday if my mother allows me to go out.
