LAST DAY!

Hehe.. Don't know why but I feeling extremely excited today. When I stepped into the office this morning, my heart just started beating very quickly. Feels like the day when I received prize for topping the class.

I'd sent out thank you emails just now to my colleagues, event company, PR agency, distributors etc. I received some replies and I felt very touched by them. I'd forwarded those replies to my gmail for remembrance. I just hope I didn't miss out anybody. Hee..

Just had lunch at Spring Court, ate dim sum. My colleagues gave me a DKNY watch and $50 Tangs Voucher!! Not bad eh?! Kekek..

Hmm.. I did not cry.. At least not yet. Think I be strong enough, it's not the end of the world. I'll distribute the Ferrero Rocher later at break time. I hope that they will remember me after I left.

2 more days..

Now that IAP is ending, I felt a little sad and bu4 se3 de2 about leaving the company. I'm really lucky to have colleagues so fun and friendly and who are very patient when you do things wrongly. I'll miss the times at MM.

I heard from my colleagues that it is very troublesome to extend my stay at MM, not that I want to stay lah, Audrey said approving me for internship goes all the way to our big boss at US. It is too much trouble, anyway I believe the whole of next month practically nobody will be in office. Everyone will be at US have meeting and before the US meeting, they are having some incentive trip to Gold Coast. So sad they did not invite me for the Gold Coast trip. =(

Hmm.. I somewhat secured my future already. I more or less have a job, just waiting to see is any local U will be taking me in, if not I'll start my working life.

This job that I'll be having, I'm still not sure what it's called and it has nothing to do with marketing at all. However, it's not a bad one considering that I won't be in the office all day long staring at the PC and I might get to travel and lastly no formal wear at all.. Ain't it good?

I believe most people will be shocked that I'll be starting my career with this job. Think the starting pay is not high, no fixed working hours, may work till midnight or early next morning, will be seeing lots of Thai and Sri Lankan workers. Hehe.. Am I scaring people now?

Oh well, I'll just let your imagination run wild. Update on this job again when I get the full details. =)

Best Friend

Suddenly feel so left out again.. I know I told myself a thousand times but it really feels so bad and hurt when friends just don't seem to want to talk to you. As if I was no longer their friend. Ain't it sad?

Well.. I guess I have to move on and look for a new bunch of friends and be prepared that they will leave me one day soon and move on again and repeat the whole cycle again..

Till now, I haven't find a real good friend, who is willing to share her/his problems with me and mine with her/him. Where is that friend that is missing in my life. I really envy those who found their best friend who will always be there for them.

I'm always the one who take the first step to msn them or call them but every time, either nobody replies or someone replied with one word. Ain't it obvious that they are not interested to chat?

So sad that I've known so many people but none is my true best friend, all are only acquaintances whom were once part of my life.

I know I have my family and Fab, but it's still different. Best friend is someone whom you can ask her to be your bridesmaid if she's a girl. Someone you can turn to when your boyfriend bully you or made you upset (note: Fab won't do that to hurt me). Someone you can ask opinions on fashion or relationship etc. Someone you can vent your frustration or temper on but forgive you later when you apologise.

Where are you best friend?

Lucky girl

Have you ever heard that a company will give a present for their intern who is leaving?

Well.. That happens to me and I'm just so ecstatic about it.

Cindy: Do you ask your friend what she/he wants for birthday or give him/her a surprise?

Me: It depends.. For my case, if closer friends, I will ask them what they want.

Cindy: So what will you want?

Me: I usually won't want those display thingy, collect dust. I prefer things that are useful. (Still haven't register to my mind that she's asking me what I want. After lunch symtoms.)

Cindy: You don't have any specific thing that you want?

Me: No. Not at the moment, why you want to buy for me ah?

Cindy: Yah lah! We want to get you something. What about a MP3 player or any IT gadgets?

Me O_o!!?: Er.. I don't know lah.. Anything will do. Money?? ($_$) I don't mind an angbao..

Cindy: Cannot lah..

Me: Hehe.. Anything lor. I don't really know what I want.

Hmm.. Now I really wonder what they are going to buy for me. Well my birthday is the same as my other colleague, but too bad, I won't be able to celebrate with them as my attachment ends next Thursday. Next Thursday, we will be having a farewell lunch for me. Again.. I wonder where we will be going. Somewhere nice with good food?

I'm really lucky to be with MM, to think that I'm not even someone who have worked for a few years, just 5 months. I wonder who will be the next lucky intern?

Nothing to do.

After MAX 2005, there's really nothing much for me to do in the office. No emails. I used to receive over 70 emails over the weekend. Today? I received 33 and more than 20 of the emails are reminder mails to remind me that my emails have exceeded it's capacity. Bleah!

I finally just done all the filing and stamping which I should have done last week. There's one more task which is the pile of magazines on the shelf. I'll do that later after this blog entry.

A time to think how to write my own testimonial, Audrey told me to write one and she'll edit it and sign it after that. Wow.. Busy people! But I guess that's the norm, when I heard others doing that too.

Macromedia MAX 2005 Conferece

Macromedia MAX 2005 Conferece was held at Hotel InterContinental. I wanted to attend through all the sessions, however I have a merchandise booth to tend to. With no choice, I sat at the booth stoning. I managed to attend the welcoming speech and keynote session on the first day.

Greg Rewis sigh.. He is a charming man. Really can connect with the audience. Everybody likes him. A very humorous and fun person. I wish to be like him one day. He is my new idol! Keke..

I met some people from our event company which was a nice and fun bunch of people. They kept me company when they are free. Keke.. I think they can see that I'm bored.

Business is really bad. There are umbrellas, clocks, thumbdrive, wireless mouse, long sleeves shirts and jackets. Only 1 umbrella, 1 thumbdrive and 5 jackets are sold. It's freezing at the boardroom, I guess that is why our jacket is the most popular item. Keke..

This is one event that I really know what's going on behind the scene, not as easy as E-Congress or EIC. I was involved from the start to the end, an eye opening experience for me, even though I'm really bored tending to the stupid booth!

Pissed!

Sigh.. I'm not sure whether I should go for the retest or I should just fail this test.

Now when I sit down to think, I have no use for the license or cert at all. Even if I get it, so what? I don't think I'm that passionate about basketball anymore. No longer can I play well, in fact I'm really lousy at it right now. Can't dribble, can't shoot, can't run, can fake. Whatever! After those years of hardwork, it's gone. All the skills just return back to PS.

I'm more towards the failing option. I know, people all encouraged me, telling me not to give up. Even those classmates whom I didn't talk to before are very encouraging. But really I feel so turn off when I failed it. Just didn't feel like retaking, so what if I retake and passed?

I really doubt I'll be committed enough to go referee a match and how many people get to referee of all those who passed? All these refereeing is by referral. So seriously, for someone who have gotten out of the basketball world for so long and who is really not interested in basketball at all, will I ever get a chance? NO. Then why bother?!

Lost my way again..

Felt so depressed and discouraged yesterday. Don't feel like talking about it.

What am I good at? I really don't know, I'm not good at basketball, not good at singing, not good at school work, not good at advising people, not a good friend, not a good girlfriend (maybe), not even good at lying! I a good for nothing!! Argh!!! Feel so useless right now..

Where to find and discover the one thing that I'm really good at, that I can be proud of? I don't know. Sigh.. Being in this world for the pass 20 years but nothing has been discovered. Ain't it sad?

I know everyone have their own strengths and weakness but I only have weakness.. :(

I feel so lost.

Just a Tuesday afternoon

Ms Fa'izah just came in this morning. Not too bad, everything went quite well. Got to know that I got not too bad scores for the interim report, which I'm kind of happy about it. Who won't? So lucky to have Ms Fa'izah to be my LO!! Lolx.. She's the best, not too strict and stingy with the marks. =) With her, you have no need to waste your time collecting and compiling Appendix.

Today, Audrey keeps asking me during lunch time, "Why are you so quiet today?", "Why so sian?"

Tuesday blues.. I'm having Monday blues on Monday, Tuesday blues on Tuesday, Wednesday Blues on Wednesday and Thursday Blues on Thursday!!! I love Friday! Saturday especially!!

I wonder.. If I dread work so much, how will I live through my days of working life? Die! Must really look for something I really like and have the passion for it.. Still Searching high and low. Once I thought I know what I really wanted, but I guess I'm just really indecisive or I xi3 sin1 yan4 jiu4!

I'm always easily lured to other choices.. Hmm not sure if I use the correct vocab. I'm just not determined enough or not persistent enough to go on pursuing my dreams, always changing my direction when obstacles arises.. Coward!

23 more days till the end of IAP!! Time really passes so quickly.. In 3 weeks time, I would be rushing my final report and slacking at home till graduation.

I think I should start looking for a part time after IAP ends. What should I work as? I want something that is fun and flexible. Who doesn't?! Keke.. However I have a feeling that someone wouldn't want me to be working.. ;P
